Members of the public will have an opportunity to meet a real Canadian hero at a book signing event.
Romeo Dallaire, will be in Prince George next weekend to meet and greet the public and sign copies of his books.
Library spokesperson Andrea Palmer, says Dallaire was in Rwanda during the genocides of 1994:
“For anybody who is not aware of his long career as a General and a Lieutenant General in the Canadian Army, he is a humanitarian. He is the award winning author of “Shake hands with the devil: the failure of humanity in Rwanda” which recounts his experiences in Rwanda”
Dallaire will also be in town as the keynote speaker at the 2015 Bob Ewert Memorial Lecture.
The free meet and greet event at the library will take place between 4 and 5 pm on April the 11th, with the public welcome to attend.
