City begins busy stretch of repaving projects

Several repaving projects are getting underway in Prince George this week.

The largest operation began today (Monday) on Foothills Boulevard between North Nechako Road and the Fortis substation just north of the intersection.

Preparation and operations are starting this week on eight other projects:

    • 5th Avenue from Ospika Boulevard to Voyageur Avenue
    • 5th Avenue from Douglas Street to Johnson Street
    • Douglas Street from 5th Avenue to 2nd Avenue
    • Ewert Street from 5th Avenue to 2nd Avenue
    • Freeman Street from 5th Avenue to 2nd Avenue
    • Renwick Crescent from Melville Avenue to Winnipeg Street
    • Cameron Street Roundabout
    • River Road from Cameron Street Overpass to Cameron Street Bridge

Repaving is expected to begin on Wednesday and continue through the end of next week.

A sidewalk operation on Highland Drive in the Hart is also wrapping up this week.
