A structure fire late last night had Prince George Fire and Rescue out in force.
At around 11 pm on Sunday, 17 firefighters from three halls responded to the blaze on the 9000 block of Inglewood road.
When they arrived, they found the home engulfed in flames with the lone occupant awoken by smoke detectors and suffering from smoke inhalation. That occupant was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
Fire damage to the building was extensive, and the cause is still unknown with no damage estimates at this time.
