The City of Prince George has some big plans for Masich Place Stadium.
The city is looking to turn the place into a recreation facility where more sports can be played.
Mayor Lyn Hall says they hope to make it an all weather field.
“And with the all weather field, we need to restructure the layout of the field where it currently is with respect to the shot-put, high jump, hammer throw those kinds of things.”

Hall says the total cost of the project would be $3.7 million.
He says the city is applying for federal grants to get the costs of it covered.
