Tourism PG is looking for its next CEO.
Today (Thursday), the Board of Directors announced the resignation of Tracey McBride citing personal and family considerations.
She will be leaving the organization at the end of June.
“It was a difficult decision, as the Board, the staff at Tourism Prince George, and the people of Prince George have been incredible during these crazy,
unprecedented times,” said McBride.
“It has been a challenging but very rewarding experience with the warmth of the people and business community of Prince George. Tourism Prince George has grown and implemented an impressive re-branding, a revised five-year strategy with forward-thinking, data-based recommendations, and created momentum for community engagement on future tactics. This positions the city of Prince George for some great bopportunities post-pandemic.”
McBride replaced Erica Hummel who resigned from the role in September of 2019.
