Renters in Prince George will have the chance to learn about tenant rights tomorrow (Friday).
The Prince George Public Library and the Justice Education Society will be jointly hosting the ‘Renters Rights’ workshop on Zoom at 12:00pm.
The session will cover the basics of tenancy in B.C., how to write a tenancy agreement, tenant rights and responsibilities, and how to end a lease or deal with an eviction notice.
Participants will also learn about the impact of COVID-19 on renters including legal changes and a renter’s responsibilities and rights during the pandemic.
