The Prince George RCMP responded to multiple reports of a bear spray incident on Monday morning at Pine Centre Mall.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the two youth victims who stated a male came up to their group and shouted at them.
After yelling at the group, the male sporting a balaclava and baseball hat bear sprayed the group, catching two of the four people in the group directly.
The victims revealed they didn’t know the identity of the suspect nor did they have any clue who would’ve done it.
Police reviewed CCTV footage of the scene and saw the suspect run from the shopping centre and hop into a silver, 4-door sedan.
The suspect is being described as:
- 152 – 157 cm tall (5’ – 5’2)
- Slim build
- White hoodie
- Black and grey sweatshirt
- Blue jeans
- Bright white shoes
- Tan balaclava
- Baseball hat
Emergency Health Services checked the victims on scene and released them into their parents care.
RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
