YMCA of Northern BC sets $60k goal for strong kids campaign

The YMCA of Northern BC hopes to raise $60,000  for its strong kids campaign this year.

The organization says the funds will be supporting youth to participate in camps and programs.

The campaign began with donations from every member of the board of directors and the commitment from many staff members of payroll deductions, followed by public donations toward the goal.

YMCA Megathon surpassed its $10,000 goal, bringing the campaign total to $33,000.

Meanwhile, the annual donor wall was also revealed at the Prince George location to commemorate the end of the public campaign month.
