A bit of a mixed bag when it came to B-C’s forest industry in the first quarter of 2014. That coming from a Price Waterhouse Coopers report that showed the financial results of five lumber companies in the province. Vice President Jason Boyer says there was a lower volume of shipments.
Boyer says pulp companies in the province had positive quarters. He says the adverse winter weather and the trucker strike in March are some reasons for the companies results.
