Giscome school flagged for possible COVID-19 exposure

Northern Health says a school in Giscome is reporting a potential COVID-19 exposure.

Giscome Elementary, part of SD57, is the latest to be added to the list.

According to the notice, the exposure occurred on February 4.

“If your child’s school has been notified of an exposure, no action is required unless you are contacted by Public Health or are otherwise directed by school officials,” reads the Northern Health website.

“Public Health will contact you directly in case of any school exposure involving your child.”

This is the seventh Prince George school exposure in 2021.
