Death of 22 year old Fort St John woman deemed suspicious

RCMP in Fort St. John are investigating the recent death of a 22-year-old woman.

Police were called to a home in the city yesterday (Monday) evening, where the woman was found dead.

A 27-year-old man, known to the victim, was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.

Police believe there is no further risk to the public.

A parallel investigation is being conducted by the BC Coroner’s Service.
