A quickly-circulating video of a car jumping the fence of a school is raising the eyebrows of the Prince George RCMP.
Mounties are launching an investigation into the stunt, which garnered more than 2700 shares and 130,000 views.
The video shows a dark 4-door sedan speeding through the strip mall at 6977 Gladstone Place.
The driver of the car then uses the elevated surface of the strip mall to jump the fence around the field at College Heights Secondary, before driving out of the field.
Police are requesting the person filming the incident, along with the driver, come forward.
“This was a dangerous stunt that put the lives of those in the area at risk. It occurred during the day at what appears to be peak shopping hours for the strip mall. Additionally, children frequently use that hill for sledding,” said Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.
In addition, anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage is asked to contact police.
