The strike at UNBC has been suspended.
Last night, President Daniel Weeks announced that the university has applied to the Labour Relations Board for a “special process” that is only used when both parties can’t reach an agreement through collective bargaining for the first time.
He stresses this does not mean an agreement has been found.
Classes will be back in session on Friday.
Further updates will be made at UNBC’s Faculty Relations page.
