The UNBC Child Care Centre is warning of a possible COVID-19 exposure.
According to its website, children and staff attending the centre between November 23 and 27 may have been exposed to the virus.
“Each licensed child-care facility in B.C. has a COVID-19 safety plan in place. In our case, the safety plan was followed “precisely” according to NH, which means the risk of further transmission is low,” the warning reads.
As a result, the centre will be closed until at least December 14 for sanitizing, cleaning, and a review of safety procedures.
