The COVID-19 outbreak at the LNG Canada worksite in Kitimat that was declared last Thursday (Nov 19th) saw an additional two cases today.
There are now 34 active cases on the worksite.
As of today, 43 employees associated with this outbreak have tested positive.
Nine people have recovered from the virus since the outbreak was announced, meanwhile, 17 people are self-isolating at the site.
Northern Health has confirmed that on-site screening of employees, contact management and tracing are ongoing and there have been no public exposure in Kitimat or surrounding areas.
