The Prince George Spruce Kings have launched their annual show home Lottery to support the community-owned club.
For the 39th year, the funding will support the 25 young athletes pay for travel expenses and skill development with 3 early bird draws with donations from local businesses.
Additionally, there will be 100 Mega 50/50 Jackpot #1 tickets from Spruce Credit Union, a $1,400 PG Restaurant package, a PB Sports and Evolve package with a Mountain Bike and gift certificate.
“The lottery really helps us play every year when you factor in the increased travel from being in a Northern community, playing in the league is a bit more expensive,” said Business Operations Manager, Kyle Anderson.
There will be 2 Mega 50/50 Jackpots worth up to $100,000 each, with one draw on February 12th and one on the same day as the grand prize home draw on April 3.
This year’s home is located at 2754 Links Drive in the Aberdeen Glen Subdivision, it’s 2600 square feet and comes fully furnished, valued at $670,000 and tickets are $125.

Meanwhile, the club welcomed a new show home lottery manager, Liz Bennett for the 2020 season.
“We are happy to have Liz on board for this year’s edition of the Show Home,” said Anderson, “her professionalism, creativity, and community connections are very valuable in what has been a challenging year.”
Bennett has been active in the community for years serving as a board member on the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Iceman competition and Tourism Prince George.
