The UNBC Timberwolves continue to excel in the classroom.
A record-setting 28 student-athletes have been recognized as Academic All-Canadians for their work academically for 2019-2020.
The annual ceremony honours students who have achieved a Grade Point Average of 3.67 (an A- letter grade) or higher.
“It is incredibly difficult to manage the demands of an academic course load, while also training, practicing, traveling, and playing games at the U SPORTS level,” said Loralyn Murdoch, UNBC Director of Athletics/Recreation.
“We are extremely proud of our student-athletes who continue to excel on and off the court and pitch. The 3.67 GPA is truly challenging to maintain, so to see a record number of honourees is a great point of pride for everyone at UNBC.”
