A local church has reported a COVID-19 community exposure event, causing all in-person worship services to be halted for the time being.
According to the Westwood Church website, the exposure reportedly occurred between October 14 – 29.
“This is a voluntary delay for the interest of our church and the broader community,” said Pastor Rob Dyck in the statement.
“We will update our church family as soon as possible on our plans moving forward.”
The in-person service for this Sunday (November 8) has been postponed as a result.
