The Prince George Cougars all-time points leader, Jansen Harkins, will continue to wear a Winnipeg Jets uniform.
The 23-year-old Harkins signed a two-year contract extension with the NHL club with an average salary of $725,000 per season.
He made his NHL debut last season where he had seven points in 29 games for Winnipeg.

Harkins played in three playoff games, including August 3rd versus the Calgary Flames when he scored the game’s opening goal.

Harkins was selected 47th overall (second round) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
He also saw action in 30 games for the Manitoba Moose last season and recorded 31 points where he was named the team’s MVP.
