Pidherny Recreation Site sees parking lot expansion

Expansion of the parking lot at the Pidherny Recreation Site begins this week, with the lot capacity increasing from 30 cars to 40.

The lot will remain open to the public, however, parking is also available in the southern lot on Piderny Rd.

The project will relocate the picnic area as well as the existing fence and boulders that border the lot.

Crews will mark the parking spaces to help manage traffic during the upgrades which are expected to be completed by mid-October.

The project is being paid for by Recreation Sites and Trails BC, which is part of a partnership with the City of PG.
