Tim Horton’s Camp Day in PG raises $42,000

Tim Hortons Camp Day in Prince George was a smashing success once again.

Owner, Wende Bracklow told MyPGNow.com the community came through in spades.

“We raised $42,000, which is a touch above last year so that is a really positive thing and a testament to our community and how supportive they can be to the youth in Prince George.”

She added it was great to see residents rally around a worthwhile cause.

“I totally believed the community would come through the way it always has and I think the weather helped too as it was a bit of rainy day, which helped us sell a little bit more coffee.”

The funds raised provide underprivileged kids with a chance to attend a summer camp.
