A possible explosion at an industrial wood pellet manufacturing facility caused $50,000 worth of damage.
At about 5 pm, fire crews were called to the 9900 block of Willow Cale road.
First arriving crews found ‘a small amount’ of smoke coming from a conveyor system at the facility.
Fire crews quickly applied water to several conveyors which had smoldering wood
material inside.
No injuries were reported.
