St. Vincent De Paul accepts donation of personal protective equipment

St. Vincent De Paul Society accepted a very relevant donation this week, in light of COVID-19.

Adam Hyatt is currently a Territory Account Manager for SureWerx, as well as an occupational health and safety practitioner by trade.

When he heard his company was donating personal protective equipment to those in need, Hyatt immediately thought of St. Vincent De Paul Society in Prince George.

On Thursday, Hyatt delivered 48 face shields to the charity which will allow the organization to better protect both staff and patrons.

Hyatt wanted to make sure those serving the City’s vulnerable weren’t neglected:

“Oftentimes they’re possibly overlooked. We’re not the only company making donations, but oftentimes we focus on healthcare and things of that nature, and sometimes people like St. Vincent get forgotten to a degree,” he explained, continuing: “I know what a great job they do, and how they help the community and the vulnerable.”

The face shields donated are re-useable and can be cleaned for repeated uses.
