Liquor stores may soon have a decision to make in regards to their relocation into grocery stores.
As the government prepares to lift their five kilometer ban which currently restricts private liquor stores from relocating outside their local jurisdiction, a new lottery will be taking place to determine the queue for all relocations into other communities and grocery stores.
It is expected there will be many stores inquiring, and thus when the ban is lifted on April 1st, liquor stores across BC will all have an equal chance at potential relocations.
Information for all applicants will be available shortly, at www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/lclb/policy/relocation.htm
