Pride flag raised at Prince George City Hall

The flags flying in front of Prince George City Hall have become a little more colourful.

Today (Friday) Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall, joined by members of City Council, raised the pride flag to commemorate pride month.

“This is a celebration that we’ve been doing for over 20 years,” President of the Prince George Pride Society Susan Trabant.

“Everything is different this year. We are following what the Provincial Officer has asked… so that means we aren’t doing our regular events,” she continued.

This year, Prince George Pride Society will be hosting a virtual Pride photo contest.
