Central Mountain Air to begin offering flight service in early July

Central Mountain Air is taking a “multi-layered approach” to COVID-19 according to CEO Robert Cummings.

Service will be starting back up on July 7th, with the airline operating three days a week.

Four routes both in and out of Prince George will be offered, including to Kelowna, Kamloops, Fort St. John and Terrace.

Cummings said the company plans to operate above the hygiene and health standards outlined by Transportation Canada.

Central Mountain Air will be using smaller aircraft, where every seat is a window seat, with passengers separated by aisles – essentially no one will have to sit side-by-side.

Service between Alberta and BC will be reintroduced as new guidelines come in from the Provincial Government.
