Another big win for Team BC’s women curlers.
Team BC Skip Sarah Daniels is elated with their 10 – 2 win over the Yukon, Tuesday morning.
“I think it went really well, we had a slow start, but we worked into it,” she says.
Next they play PEI, a team relatively unknown to Daniels.
“It doesn’t mess with your head since you don’t know anything, you’re just going in, expecting that they’re the best team out there, because then you’re going your hardest,” she says. “If you’re going into a game and you think ‘Oh, they’re easy,’ then you’re not going to be as focused, your not going to play your hardest, and you’re going to end up bombing really bad.”
Team BC is now 3 – 0 with victories over Nunavut (10 – 3) and the Northwest Territories (8 – 1).
BC faces PEI at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Curling Club.
