Following Sunday’s fatal crash involving Canadian Snowbird Captain Jenn Casey, the City of Prince George has lowered the flags in front of City Hall to half-mast.
“It’s just an opportunity for us to pay our respects,” said Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall.
“They’re part of our history, part of our ‘Canadiana’,” Hall continued, adding: “it’s a recognition that the entire city is paying its respects.”
Captain Casey’s fatal accident happened in Kamloops.
