Unfortunately, not everyone is following the rules when it comes to COVID-19.
The McLeod Lake Indian Band released a letter to members warning that an anonymous member living in Prince George has tested positive, and may still be engaging in “high risk behaviours”.
The letter says the individual has been in contact with family members, and “is not following safety measures even while in lockdown”.
Advice offered to members of the band mirrors the general advice provided by the Provincial Health Officer, including: staying with small family groups, and avoiding travelling to other communities.
The McLeod Lake Indian Band has confirmed the letter is an official release.
More details, including the full letter can be read online.
