SPCA in need of donations after quarantine

The North Cariboo SPCA seems to be in the clear with a recent quarantine.

Last month the branch had an outbreak of ringworm among its animals.

Manager Angela McLaren says there are a few animals they are still waiting on for test results.

“We have three cases of cats in foster care and one shelter cat that is positive.”

McLaren says they are now in need of donations of scratch posts for cats as they had to throw all of them away.

She says they can be dropped off at the shelter.
