The Prince George Public Library is adding to its virtual programs this month with new programs for adults including trivia nights and weekly gaming sessions.
New programs for youth will include a Resume Workshop, a trivia challenge for kids and teens aged 10-18, and later in the month – a kid’s cooking class.
Senior Reading, a program where library staff read to residents at seniors’ facilities, will resume via Skype calls with the residents at Laurier Manor.
Six library book clubs have also moved online.
Library patrons borrowed over 9,400 eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and music from the library’s digital collections in April.
There are currently 25,000 physical items on loan in the community and due dates for those items have been extended to June 1st.
