To celebrate Earth Day, the Regional District will resume sales of compost on Friday, May 1st.
NorGrow Compost sales were temporarily suspended as a result of Covid-19 measures at the Foothills Blvd Regional Landfill in March.
The compost will be loaded by Regional District staff and customers must have a pickup truck or trailer.
“The landfill is extremely busy this time of year so customers should expect long line ups to enter the site and when waiting for compost loading,” said the Regional District.
Compost customers are asked to stay in their vehicles while the loader is operating.
Physical distancing measures will be enforced at the site.
Compost sales are available seven days a week from 10 am – 4 pm every day.
