Prince George’s Exploration Place has taken some precautionary steps to keep staff and visitors safe, which included closing to the public on March 13th.
The facility is not quite ready to announce a reopening date, according to an official release.
However, the Exploration Place has announced that they will pause all memberships effective from the March 13th closing date.
This means that any members will have their membership extended by the duration of the closure.
“Essentially, regardless of the existing policy that says that memberships are non-refundable, we decided to modify that during this crisis,” explained Tracy Calogheros, CEO.
90% of the Exploration Place’s staff are currently working from home.
More information on the Exploration Place can be found on their website.
