Commercial truckers to receieve support from the Provincial Government

Following the mass-closure of businesses, many commercial truckers were faced with a dilemma that the Provincial Government is looking to fix.

The B.C. Government has installed 20 portable restroom facilities at commercial vehicle pull-outs, inspection stations, and chain-up locations throughout the province, with more expected in the coming weeks.

All rest areas will also remain open during the outbreak and will be maintained by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and contracted maintenance workers.

There are 203 rest areas in the province, all of which are equipped with toilet facilities in addition to the twenty new restrooms installed by the Province.

More details are available online.
