Many of this year’s Easter festivities will require some adjustments to ensure the health and safety of British Columbians.
Although Lori Trupp says some of the past in-person Easter egg hunts hosted by her registered non-profit Fun 4 Family’s Canada Society have attracted “no fewer than 250 kids,” there will be some twists coming alongside the event’s shift to a virtual format.
“I didn’t want to give up on Easter,” Trupp said.
The virtual hunt is Prince George-centric, with participants trying to spot clues hidden in photos taken around the city.
“You don’t have to leave your home, all you need is a computer and Facebook,” Trupp explained.
Participants will be automatically entered to win various prizes donated by stores around PG, or purchased by Fun 4 Family’s.
The Easter hunt will be available for 24 hours on Saturday, April 11th.
Anyone interested in participating can visit the event’s Facebook page, with more information on Fun 4 Family’s available online.
