Highway 16 has reopened to single lane alternating traffic following a vehicle crash west of Bednesti.

The North District RCMP is responding to a two-vehicle crash 3-7 kilometers west of Bednesti.
Highway 16 is closed in both directions between Guest road and Hillcrest way, said Corporal Madonna Saunderson.
A chip trailer truck attempted a u-turn, reportedly hitting a passenger vehicle.
Saunderson said everyone has been evacuated from the vehicles, but the extent of the injuries are unknown.
Emergency crews are on the scene.
