Both branches of the Prince George Public Library will be closed to the public until further notice as of 9 pm today (Monday), following the directive by the Provincial Minister of Health prohibiting all public gatherings of more than 50 people.
“We support the directive of the Health Minister and are closing our branches in the interest of protecting the health and safety of our staff and community members,” said Library Director, Paul Burry.
The library will extend borrowing periods for books automatically, and charges for overdue fees and other kinds of library bills will be suspended.
