Several committees like the Select Committee on Poverty Reduction and Advisory Committee for Developmental Design will be submitting their yearly reports and 2020 work plans at tomorrow’s council meeting.
The Advisory Committee for Accessibility plans on continuing to gather feedback on construction projects, sidewalk improvements, and city buildings.
The RCMP will also report its 2019 year in review, including prisoner count, crime hotspots, safe cities road program, and priorities for the year.
Additionally, Council will hear the Union of B.C. Municipalities resolutions update and a proposed resolution titled “Sharing payments from the opioid class-action lawsuit.”
The City of Prince George is also continuing its preparations for the 2022 B.C. Summer games and will hear update recommendations.
Last but not least, Councillor Cori Ramsay has been nominated to the North Central Local Governance Association Board of Directors, and Council will be asked to endorse the nomination.
