34-year-old Aaron Joseph Glover of Prince George was found to be breaching a probation order and conditions of a previous arrest.

Glover is known to police and has been charged by the B.C. Prosecution Service with one count each of:

· Theft under $5000

· Failure to comply with probation

· Failure to comply with release order

Glover has been remanded in custody until his next court date scheduled for Friday.

Later on Friday, a 41-year old man was arrested following a short foot chase, after stealing bait property.

He was transferred to the Detachment and released on court documents for June 3rd.

“Our bait programs are an effective use of our resources and produce positive results every time they are deployed in our community,”  said Sgt. Kent MacNeill.

“We want thieves to think twice before they make a decision to take anything that does not belong to them.”

Anyone with information about property-related crime is asked to call their local RCMP detachment or Crimestoppers.
