The United Way of Northern BC (UWNBC) will be launching its newest initiative – 365 Small Business Circle, tomorrow (Thursday).
The 365 Small Business Circle (365SBC) is created to help small to medium businesses connect with their community and network with each other.
According to UWNBC, the initiative will be a way for smaller-scale businesses to give back to their communities, access information and professional development and advertise.
“Typically in the past we have engaged with large corporates, and we just wanted to widen the net a bit and include our smaller and medium-sized businesses,” said UWNBC Spokesperson Michele Brooke.
Brooke explained the project is in its early stages, and it will continue to be developed.
The official launch is happening in Northern BC in two locations this Thursday, February 27th at two open-houses, one at Prince George’s Oak Room at 2:30 pm, and the other in Fort St. John.
