Thursday is the deadline to get your studded tires taken off.
Seargent Al Steinhauser with Traffic Services says enforcement will depend on where you’re driving.
Steinhauser says police also take into account how hard it is to get an appointment at your local car shop at the last minute, so some leeway will be given in the first few days.
The Ministry of Transportation warns that studded tires cause damage to roads and makes it harder to stop in warm weather.
