Thompson out as Cougars GM

The incoming new part owner of the Prince George Cougars, Greg Pocock, has confirmed that the team will not be retaining the services of General Manager Dallas Thompson but will keep Mark Holik as Head Coach. In his 10 seasons as GM, the Cougars compiled a regular season record of 256-422-17-35 under Thompson. They have missed the playoffs the last three years and five times in the last seven. Holik will be entering his second full season behind the Cats bench. He has two years remaining on his contract.
