Two Prince George residents have been charged with several offences after an incident last night.
According to RCMP, an unruly passenger on a bus at UNBC resulted in the assault of a police officer and a bus driver.
This afternoon, the BC Prosecution Service charged 30-year-old Geoffrey David Lamb of Prince George with one count each of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, uttering threats and causing a disturbance.
29-year-old Marsha Michelle Lewis of Prince George was also charged with one count of assault and one count of causing a disturbance.
Both appeared in Provincial Court this afternoon and were released until their next court date, scheduled for February 26.

Prince George RCMP responded to a report of an unruly transit passenger on a bus at the UNBC campus last night (Tuesday).
According to Cpl. Craig Douglass, A 30-year old man, and a 29-year-old woman were held overnight and will appear in court later today. (Wednesday)
Initial reports were an intoxicated man, accompanied by a woman, was harassing other passengers.
“Both were asked to get off the bus but refused, and ultimately assaulted the bus driver,” said Douglass.
The bus was cleared for the safety of all passengers and a call was made to police, who arrived on the scene shortly.
The first officer arrived and was directed towards the couple who had exited the bus and were walking away from the police.
The officer attempted to arrest the man but was met with resistance, resulting in a call for backup.
The officer was also assaulted during the incident but managed to complete the arrest with the assistance of a second officer, The woman was also taken into custody.
The first officer attended the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Douglass explained the bus driver also suffered minor injuries and the man is ‘moderately’ known to police.
