The College of New Caledonia is celebrating Chinese New Year in style this Saturday.
As the international students will be holding a Chinese buffet and evening of performances.
Anwen Roberts, spokesperson for the CNC – says its going to be a bright and vibrant affair.
“There’s traditional Chinese dancing, a peacock dance which I saw last year, it was fantastic,” she says. “Jazz dancing, guitar, piano, there will be Chinese singing, English singing, Kuai-ban, a Chinese rap / storytelling with bamboo clappers.”
She says this year is the year of the goat on the Zodiac calendar.
The 18 dish buffet dinner will include door prizes, gift baskets and visa gift cards. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the international education office at the CNC.
