Environment Canada issued a heavy snowfall warning for Prince George and the Stuart-Nechako region at 4 p.m. today (Thursday).
A Pacific weather system is predicted to bring 10 to 20 centimetres of snow by Friday evening.
Heavy snow is also expected over Highway 97- Pine Pass.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to drop into the minus twenties and thirties through the weekend and next week.
