PG photographer challenges subjects to chase goals with new project

A local photographer is marking the beginning of the ’20s with a project documenting her subjects over the span of 10 years.

Taylor’d Captured Moments’ Courtney Taylor is asking her models where they think they will be, and what they want to accomplish by 2030.

There are three steps: a session this year, then one five years from now, and again ten years later.

“Once you do something like this, you kind of have it written in stone, you have more of a goal-orientated type of feel to it,” explained Taylor.

“To be able to see and watch the growth happen throughout the years, I think it would be nice to capture that for families.”

Taylor said her favorite thing about photography is the storytelling, and how little moments make up the bigger picture.

“To me, I think the unknown is what I want to capture.”

The first round is not free, but Taylor wants to check in with her subjects over the coming years with complimentary shoots.

“It’s kinda like on TV! Where do you see yourself, check back in, like the Oprah show!”

“I can’t give everyone a house, but I can give them the session!” she exclaimed.
