Prince George’s Christmas tree recycling event officially ended yesterday (Sunday).
The program, offered through a collaboration between the City of PG and local youth organization Job’s Daughters, took place in the CN Centre parking lot.
“We had an awesome event,” said spokesperson Dianne Graham, adding that the organization collected over 200 Christmas trees.
“If the City would like to have Job’s Daughters participate in the event, we’d love to do it again next year.”
The organization encourages anyone who still has their natural Christmas tree to properly recycle it.
