Dog handlers undergo agility trial today in PG

Top Dog Agility Association is hosting a competition officially sanctioned by the Agility Association of Canada today from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. in the PG Agriplex.

The event remains fairly popular, despite the roster typically slimming down during winter trials according to Top Dog President, Janine Fraser.

“I think we’ve only got about 20 people, but most of us are running multiple dogs. I’m not sure of our total dog count, but we have about 40,”

Janine expressed the importance of dog training, adding: “it’s an opportunity for me to get out and have a good time with my dogs, and do something that we’re both having fun with… it’s not just going to run and play in the park, it’s something focused.”

Entrance to the event will be by donation, with proceeds going to the Luv 4 Paws animal rescue in Prince George.
