PG’s Operation Red Nose drives home 141 callers on New Year’s Eve

December 31st/January 1st was particularly busy for Prince George’s Operation Red Nose, which has concluded its campaign for 2019.

“We delivered 141 safe rides home thanks to 90 volunteers including 24 road teams. We’re very happy with how the night unfolded even though we experienced some technical issues with our phone lines,” said spokesperson Andrea Johnson.

Although there were some concerns over the number of volunteers, the organization ended up pleased with their final numbers.

“We managed to get everyone who called us home safely… we’re very happy with our volunteer turnout,” Johnson added.
