A few adventurous individuals are going to start 2020 with a jump into frigid winter water.
Ness Lake Bible Camp is once again hosting the Polar Bear Dip.
Those participating in the event are encouraged to gather pledges to help raise money to send kids from the Ron Brent Community to camp.
There are currently estimated to be over 80 participants competing for a variety of prizes ranging from “best costume” to “top pledge raiser”.
Last year’s event was a massive success, raising a record-breaking $11,000.
Spectators are welcome to the event, which takes place on January 1st at 2:30 P.M.
Those looking for sign-up sheets or more information can visit the Ness Lake Bible Camp website.
